The simplest and greatest card drinking game ever created. Ideal for pre-taxi carnage, this was founded in the French Alps in February 2007 and has been a popular hit before nights out and at house parties around the world. If you have been fortunate enough to get smashed playing this gem, Spread the Bread and one day this will become an international favourite. If you haven't shared, shame on you... If you haven't played, it's simple...
Tools needed: deck of cards and a flat surface * Choose someone to be the dealer. This should be someone who is definitely, definitely up for it. * Have the deck of cards in hand, face down. * Everyone who is playing takes it in turns to guess what colour the next card will be. Red or Black. Black or Red (no prizes for anyone who guesses where the name 'Bread' came from). * If you're first guess is wrong, drink. * If correct, keep going until you get one wrong. The number of correct guesses is the number of gulps you dish out. You can be all nicey nicey and share them out amongst people, or be a nasty pasty and declare a drinking war with someone. * Two killer cards exist and shatter any run of correct guesses you might be on... * ACE OF HEARTS - Share the Love. Nominate someone to down their drink. Good idea to check people's cans - pick someone who deserves to be punished. * ACE OF SPADES - Down In One. Get it down, you Zulu warrior. No worse feeling than when you're on a run of 8 correct guesses and this bastard comes out. * ADDED BONUS. Keep your stack of cards - the lowest card count after the 52 cards have been dealt, downs their drink. D-I-O! This is a quick-fire wreckage game and always goes down well, great if the taxi is coming in 15 mins.
